A little complex to get used to, but good
I’m a beginner runner and I bought this to help me keep myself within my target heart rate and measure how well I was improving.

It works for me
I use this to monitor and maintain my exercise intensity as well as measure calories burned. I am a large guy and was worried about the chest strap fitting me.

Not sure if you can swim with it
Although it says water resistant and I read somebody say they swam with it, but in my case the water got into the watch the very first time I used it in a pool.

Very Pleased
This is my first heart rate monitor. I use it jogging, biking, and on the elliptical. After 3 months of use, I am very pleased with it.

Inexpensive and accurate
Works as advertised.
I have a 44 ” chest and the band is a little tight at the largest position.
The watch band is not as flexible as I would like.

Impossible to set and program
In 1998, I bought a relatively cheap Polar heart rate monitor which lasted for 3 years and showed heart rate, time spent in zone, and calories burned.

works great – buy one
This is my first HRM watch, and this is awesome. I was going to buy the omron watch from amazon. For a few more dollars, this watch seems like a better deal.

Just love it, great for goal-oriented programs
Large display for the most vital data, additional data in smaller but readable fields. The back-lighting in the Timex watches is superb.
